Cleaning tips (keeps birds coming back)

Routine: Every 2 weeks in normal weather; weekly in wet/humid conditions or heavy use.
Empty old seed first (don’t “top off” forever—old seed can mold).
Wash: Hot, soapy water + a scrub brush.
Disinfect (recommended): 1 part bleach to 9 parts water, soak 10 minutes, then rinse very well.
Alternative: white vinegar solution (less harsh, not as strong as bleach).
Dry completely before refilling—this is a big one for preventing mold.
